on amuch ahppier note i went up to see gemma and thomas heel at the hospital on wednesday and was introduced to elena katherine amy... 36 hours old and beautiful in every way !
all is good in the household hell and the family is back home settling in..

got nine hundred emails today, in about 20 hours....
got the spam filters set to 'slow-and-painful-death' but still over NINE HUNDRED got through...
!
on a lighter note, abi - who bought my samba - was up at raceshack on the dyno with the new big type IV engine in the back . her partner andrew had won a free dyno day and they rolled down today.
she started out with about 90 bhp and after tuning and tweaking they found over a hundred and ran a simulated 16.7 quatre mile ! go girl! :)
also spoke with thomas - hell, not spoken for a few days, gemma, thomas's partner is expecting their first human, and she was due about 5 days ago... so i thought they mioghjt be kinda busy !
but nothing yet !
thomas also gave me an update on the audi 200 turbo 5 pot engine he ripped out of a car with the help of danny p last week...
all sounds good, planned to go into the back of a t25 double cab for racing next year !

picking up my email this evening and found that i had exactly 1,100 pieces of maikl to download fvrom the server... this is AFTER The automatic filters on my mailerserver have cleaned it up....
i was working late last night and picked up mail at about 2am so its under 24 hours since i last got my mail, this means i've had a piece of mal (spam) every 70 seconds for the last 23 hours...
of the 1,100 pieces of mail about TEN were actual mail of any meaning...
WHAT IS GOING ON !
officially - accordoing to people who count this stuff, 90% of all email traffic is not not actually mail ... it's spam or undelivered junk....
is this the death of email...
it's getting useless...
the spam filters are set so high i know theres a good risk of legitimate mail being killed but what can i do ?
